The Solisium carp is not uniform in length, but is commonly found in sizes around 1 m. The body is streamlined, long, and broad. The head is conical. The body is yellowish-green in color, darker on the back, lighter on the belly, and brown on the sides. It has two pairs of whiskers and well-developed teeth.
